Naghmeh is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She graduated from the University of Toronto with a master's degree in social work, specializing in Mental Health and Health. Naghmeh completed her bachelor's degree in psychology and exceptional children education.

Besides offering therapy at Wellnest Naghmeh is currently working at the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) as a CBT clinician. Naghmeh worked at Lifeworks (formerly Morneau Shepell) as an iCBT therapist. Naghmeh completed her practicums as a social worker intern at North York General Hospital and as a mental health social worker intern at the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) clinic at Sunnybrook Hospital.

Naghmeh has experience working with diverse clients and provides treatment to help individuals who are experiencing mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, stress, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), school and work stress, and relationship issues.

As a therapist, Naghmeh employs a client-centred approach. Naghmeh believes in a highly collaborative approach as it incites a positive, safe, non-judgmental and meaningful alliance with the client. Naghmeh's philosophy about therapy is that you are an expert in your own life and you have the answers to resolve the concerns that you have. Naghmeh is there as a facilitator to help remove blockers on your path to a better life.

Naghmeh has been trained in different modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment-Focused Family Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).

Naghmeh identifies as an Iranian cisgender woman, who is passionate about working with BIPOC and other marginalized communities. Naghmeh practices from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist and trauma-informed lens.
