Life can be challenging when we are constantly put under pressure from every direction; whether it's through our job, relationships, mental health or finances. Sometimes we just need a little help in understanding how to manage the everyday stressors and feel less alone. As a first generation Indian-Canadian, I have the personal and professional experiences to support you and ensure your intersecting identities and challenges are recognized in a safe space with someone who understands.
I completed my Master's of Social Work from University of Toronto and have experience working with adults and adolescents in mental health, residential treatment facilities, and non-profit agencies across the GTA. With over five years of mental health relationship building experiences and fostering individual recovery and healing, I practice from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist and trauma-informed lens. I utilize eclectic approaches such as CBT, DBT and EFT when working with individuals as well as using mindfulness techniques to help with concerns relating to: grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, trauma, personal growth, life changes, healthy relationships, boundaries, and self-esteem.
Using a client-centered approach, I aim to support you as we work together to help you use your identity, inner strength and resilience to heal.
