I am a firm believer in conscious living and enhancing all domains of life. Therapy is a beautiful wellness-based practice, which supports individuals during various stages in their life. My goal is to create a safe space; one which continually fosters empowerment, trust and self-governance, and is accepting of emotions, imperfection, and vulnerability.
In addition to my Masters of Social Work, I have worked in the community for 10 years supporting homeless youth, survivors of human trafficking and forced marriage, and diverse families facing structural and systemic barriers.
I provide individual psychotherapy to those experiencing trauma, anxiety and depression, forms of abuse, relationship challenges, life transitions, and personal growth and development barriers. My approach to therapy is to collaboratively work to unpack, process, and manage challenging experiences in an environment that is non-judgemental, compassionate, and which nurtures resiliency. I am a trauma informed and client-centered psychotherapist, drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques that best fits your needs.
I am passionate about the work I do and my method is to be supportive, culturally sensitive, and gently challenging. I strongly believe you are the expert in your life, I am simply on this journey with you to help make connections, identify moments of strength, gain a better understanding of yourself and offer useful strategies.
