Laura has over 10 years of experience working with individuals and families. She supports individuals struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, life transitions, interpersonal challenges, grief and loss.
She believes that although pain and challenges are part of life, we have the capacity to accept this, while also making the changes we need to cope with our emotions and move forward. Using a collaborative, non-judgmental and warm approach, she helps clients develop self-awareness, self-compassion, and strategies to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Laura uses elements from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
